In this project I created a 3-part Youtube tutorial series for 3D scanning app Polycam entitled “BUILD YOUR OWN METAVERSE” where I instruct users how to scan their own real-life friends and surroundings and create their own 3D virtual world in Unreal Engine.  The tutorial series is broken up into three parts, Creating a Character, Creating an Environment, and Rendering out Videos and Animations. In Part 1, I instruct users how to scan a friend using Polycam, clean up the mesh in Blender, animate their friend using Adobe Mixamo, and set them as a first character in Unreal Engine.

“Let’s rage” is a speculative virtual meta experience where one navigates the various realms of self through a central nightclub atrium. The project began during the pandemic, when we were isolated and lacking connection. The concept is that one would create their own avatar and navigate a virtual danceclub where each separate world is a different realm of self. The concept of the project came from Cedric Price Fun Palace Diagram, a speculative project that proposed a danceclub space where its parts were interchangeable and could be transformed to create a space for various uses. The project, which is now an animated film, is under development and will ultimately be transformed into a VR experience.

In this section I explore the exciting capabilities of modern 3D software. This section contains a medley of my 3D modeling and rendering work. In this section we can see the exciting frontier of 3D software.

Virtual Idol is a Live Performance Platform created in partnership with NY-based Immersive Design company Agile Lens. Virtual Idol proposes an exciting platform where actors and performers could record themselves and input that movement onto a virtual avatar using motion capture technology using Radical AI. Performers could then input their avatars into virtual scenes in Unreal Engine. This project is in its development stage and will continue to be worked on.

I have 2+ years professional experience working in architecture and hold a Masters of Architecture from SCI-Arc. I have worked on projects from the concept phase to construction documentation phase for offices like Tighe Architecture, Kerdeli Studio, and Malibu-based artist Brad Howe. I have experience in architectural 3D Modeling in softwares like Rhino 3D and construction documentation in Revit.

I have 3+ years professional experience working in Exhibition Design, including working at esteemed NYC-based exhibition firms Ralph Appelbaum Associates and Thinc Design. Some projects I have worked on include the Natural History Museum of Abu Dhabi which is set to open in 2025, where I worked on five different galleries, as well as ILMI, a science and technology center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia set to open in 2025. Working in Exhibition Design I have hands-on experience in project research, as well as 3D modeling in Rhino and construction drawing in Revit.

I am a pop singer-songwriter and music artist and for the past four years I have released alternative pop music through the moniker “Julo.” As a music artist I am interested in creating avant-garde music. My music and artwork is informed by the power of creative freedom. I have creative directed all of my visuals and music videos. In my artwork I have enjoyed using my background in 3D design and visual effects to create novel and fun experiences.

Modern technology in Unreal Engine has transformed how we experience traditional forms of art like fashion. I have always had a passion for fashion and am interested in exploring how we can experience fashion in the digital age. In this section I have explored the exciting realms of fashion design and how we can bring it into Unreal Engine. My goal is to input this design into Unreal Engine and create an innovative and exciting virtual fashion experience.
